Jungfrau Railway Holding AG

The Jungfrau Railway Holding AG comprises various subsidiary companies, the most important being the Jungfrau Railway and the Wengernalp Railway. The main activities of the Group are the operation of excursion railways and winter sports facilities in the Eiger Mönch & Jungfrau Region, and the marketing of the "Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe" experience, the trip to the Jungfraujoch at 3,454 metres altitude.

The Holding Company was founded in 1994. It has a share capital of CHF 11,670,000 divided into registered shares at CHF 2, which are traded on the Swiss Stock Exchange. For the Jungfrau Railways Holding, profitability is more important than turnover. With the profits, they are able to secure the long-term existence of the Group, and also strive to provide investors with a reasonable return.
