| Arrival by rail
Interlaken Ost
From Basel you travel directly to Interlaken Ost with Intercity trains. From Zurich and Geneva, you have to change in Bern. Trains run every 30 minutes.
Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald
At Interlaken Ost you change to the regional train for Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald. Please note the destination on the carriages.
Kleine Scheidegg
In Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald you change to the Wengernalp Railway for Kleine Scheidegg.
Jungfraujoch
At Kleine Scheidegg you change to the Jungfrau Railway, which takes you to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe in about an hour.

Arrival by road
Interlaken Ost
You reach Interlaken by road from Basel/Zurich/Geneva via Bern or Lucerne/Brünig (not suitable for delivery vans, caravans). For a reasonable parking fee you can leave your vehicle at Interlaken Ost railway station for a day.
Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald
Once you’ve reached Interlaken, you continue to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald. Simply follow the road signs. In Lauterbrunnen you can leave your vehicle for a day or more in the Lauterbrunnen Parking Garage. Reservations can be made on Internet. There is direct, covered access from the multi-storey car park to the Wengernalp Railway. Parking is more limited in Grindelwald and we recommend parking at Grindelwald-Grund. Follow the signs for Grindelwald-Grund and the station of the Wengernalp Railway.
Kleine Scheidegg
You can change to a train to Kleine Scheidegg in Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald or Grindelwald Grund.
Jungfraujoch
At Kleine Scheidegg you change to the Jungfrau Railway, which takes you to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe in about an hour.

Bern-Belp
You can reach the Jungfrau Region from Bern-Belp Airport by bus, train or car within an hour. More information is available at the airport or on Internet at: www.alpar.ch
Basel
Direct Intercity trains from Basel to Interlaken Ost (see timetable). Travelling time approx. two hours.
Zurich/Geneva
Intercity train to Bern, then change to the Intercity service from Basel to Interlaken Ost. Travelling times: Zurich: approx. two hours; Geneva: approx. three hours. |
