Winteregg – Fantastic Panorama
Mürren is a traditional Walser mountain village that is located just below the Schilthorn at 1650 meters above sea level. This idyllic village is car-free. It has 450 residents, its own school, as well as an English and a Roman Catholic church. Mürren is a starting point for hiking and is an attractive place for winter sports enthusiasts who would like to enjoy the beautiful view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
Between Mürren and Grütschalp, amidst a landscape of mountain streams, Alpine meadows and fragrant pine forests, there are cheesemakers and the Restaurant Winteregg. From July to September, local products are offered here. The view of the famous snow-covered mountains is fantastic.
