Train travel – an experience
Visitors to the Jungfrau Region can travel by historic as well as modern trains. The Jungfrau Railway, completed in 1912, is especially spectacular and takes guests through the rock of the Eiger and Mönch massif to Europe’s highest-altitude railway station at 3454m. Nostalgia fans will be in their element on the Schynige Platte Railway. The trip up to the Harder Kulm is also an exciting experience; the funicular train is fitted with panorama windows.
