Mürren (1'650m)

The charming mountain village of Mürren is located at 1650 metres above sea level in the Jungfrau Region. The former Walser settlement has a population of around 400 and counts as the highest-altitude permanently inhabited village in Canton Bern. From Lauterbrunnen, the aerial cableway and mountain railway lead past the cascading waterfalls of the Lauterbrunnen Valley to the heart of this idyllic village.
