The famous Jungfrau Railway in Switzerland has selected Tissot as its exclusive watch partner for its centenary in 2012. In Tissot, the Jungfrau Railway has found the ideal partner. Therefore the collaboration incorporates strong common values with extremely deep roots. The partners have even more than precision timing, a spirit of innovation and Swiss nationality in common. The Jungfrau region is on the Unesco World Heritage List, as is the hometown of Tissot, Le Locle.

Expressing the partnership are two Tissot countdown clocks in the Jungfrau Region, on the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe and Kleine Scheidegg, to count the days to the « zero hour » on 1 August 2012 that marks the 100th birthday of the Jungfrau Railway. In addition, the cooperation is celebrated with a collection of eight Tissot Jungfrau Special Edition watches including a Jungfrau Limited Edition pocket watch to be sold at selected points of sale.
