The valley station of the Schilthorn aerial cableway, with parking spaces, is located in Stechelberg (867 m altitude), 18 km from Interlaken. Stechelberg can be reached on good roads throughout the year, taking the Wilderswil/Interlaken motorway exit and travelling via Lauterbrunnen (approx. 20 min.). Rail: Change trains at Interlaken Ost for Lauterbrunnen, from where a postbus takes you to the valley station of the Schilthorn aerial cableway in Stechelberg. The aerial cableway runs every 30 minutes. The journey to the top of Schilthorn takes 32 minutes.
