Bike Transport

Bike transport on our rail & cableways

Bike fans are welcome in the Jungfrau-Region and also on our rail & cableways. Unfortunately not all excursion destinations can be reached with a bike. Bike transport is not possible on the Harder Funicular, Schynige Platte Railway or Jungfrau Railway.

Mountain bikes and similar transport equipment (ste) such as scooter-bikes, Big-skateboards etc. are not considered hand luggage and thus may not be transported in passenger carriages.

Your bike as luggage

Rates for bikes declared as luggage are the same on all rail & cableways: CHF 10 per bike per rail or cableway if accompanied, CHF 20 if unaccompanied. Simply declare your bike for transport at one of our stations.
