Tom Ysebaert to be new tenant of First mountain restaurant

The First Aerial Cableway has leased the First mountain restaurant to Tom Ysebaert. He takes over on 17 May 2012 as the successor to Andreas Künzi.

Tom Ysebaert grew up in Belgium, completed an apprenticeship as a cook at the School of Hotel Management, followed by further training as a restaurant owner. Since 1995, he has held positions as cook, chef and deputy manager in various gastronomic establishments throughout Switzerland. He is currently departmental head at Transgourmet AG in Wilderswil. Tom Ysebaert is 33 years old and lives in Unterseen near Interlaken. With his company, Berggasthaus First GmbH, Ysebaert intends to implement a simple operational concept with table service on the terrace and inside the restaurant. He will reopen all catering areas including the Genepi Bar for the 2012/13 winter season.
