Redeeming the tickets

The ticket is redeemable until 30.04.22. The redemption period will not be extended.

A ticket is valid once for travel and does not need to be exchanged at the counter. All you have to do is scan the QR code contactlessly (see ticket) at the turnstile to get to the railway/aerial gondola. You will have to show your ticket in the event of an inspection by the train attendant.

For the journey to the Jungfraujoch, we strongly recommend that you reserve a seat in good weather. (Seat reservation valid on the Jungfrau Railway from Station Eigergletscher/Kleine Scheidegg) Secure your seat (CHF 10 per person) at jungfrau.ch/seatreservation. If you do not make a reservation, we cannot guarantee you a seat at the desired departure time. Longer waiting times must be expected.

  • Where can I park?

    1,000 parking spaces are available at the new Grindelwald Terminal car park. As with public transport, the parking garage is also directly connected to the terminal. 

  • How do I get to Grindelwald Terminal?

    From Interlaken Ost railway station to Grindelwald Terminal via the Bernese Oberland Railway. From there with the Eiger Express tricable gondola directly to the Eiger Glacier. Ride the Jungfrau Railway directly from there to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe.

  • How long does the journey take?

    The journey from Grindelwald Terminal to the Jungfraujoch takes 45 minutes. 

  • Do I need a seat reservation?

    For your trip to the Jungfraujoch in good weather, we recommend that you book a paid seat reservation before your trip (CHF 10 per person and seat in addition to the ticket, also for children). If you do not make a reservation, we cannot guarantee you a seat at the desired departure time. Longer waiting times must be expected. 

  • Can I use my ticket to get to Grindelwald-First or other mountains?

    No, the ticket is valid once for the following connections:

    • Grindelwald Terminal - Eigergletscher - Jungfraujoch (return)

    The ticket is valid for one day only. 

     

  • Does the ticket have to be exchanged?

    Unfortunately, a lost ticket cannot be replaced.
