Grindelwald-First - Top of Adventure

There is pure adventure on Grindelwald-First. The First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot (included in the price) is a breathtaking experience. For an adrenalin kick, try the First Flyer and First Glider versions of the Flying Fox. On the two adventure trails, the manoeuvrable mountain carts and scooters require good cornering skills. More leisurely, however, is the hike to the idyllic Bachalpsee. The adventure activities are subject to a fee and can be booked separately.

The Schynige Platte is one thing above all: a place to relax with a unique view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Jungfraujoch: Do I need a seat reservation for the journey to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe?

For your trip to the Jungfraujoch, we recommend that you book a paid seat reservation before your trip (Seat reservation valid on the Jungfrau Railway from Eigergletscher station) (CHF 10 per person and seat, in addition to the ticket, also for children). The paid seat reservation is not part of the special offer and must therefore be booked separately at jungfrau.ch/seat-reservation .

Passengers without a seat reservation may board the Jungfrau Railway when all passengers with a seat reservation have boarded and as long as there are still free seats. If all seats are occupied, passengers without a seat reservation must wait for the next Jungfrau Railway train and may have face longer waiting times.
How long does the journey take? (Jungfraujoch, Grindelwald-First, Schynige Platte, Harder Kulm)

Getting to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe:
Journey time from Grindelwald Terminal to Eigergletscher station with the Eiger Express: 15 minutes. From Eigergletscher station: 30 minutes by Jungfrau Railway to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe.

Getting to Grindelwald-First – Top of Adventure:
With the First Railway from the valley station in the upper village centre in three sections to Grindelwald-First. Journey time from Grindelwald: approximately 25 minutes.

Getting to Schynige Platte – Top of Swiss Tradition:
The historic Schynige Platte Railway runs across the Breitlauenen Alp to the Schynige Platte. Journey time from Wilderswil: around 53 minutes.

Getting to Harder Kulm – Top of Interlaken:
A short walk from Interlaken-Ost railway station to the Harder funicular valley station. With a modern funicular to Harder Kulm. Travel time from valley station: 10 minutes.
