Football fans travel cheaper on the Jungfraujoch

At the start of the World Cup in Russia, Jungfrau Railways and the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich are launching a special offer for their guests. Museum visitors will travel to the Top of Europe at reduced prices from October to December 2018. Jungfraujoch guests will receive a 50% discount on entry to the FIFA Museum during the World Cup.

The World Cup 2018 promises some hot games. The Jungfraujoch and the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich are offering a profitable cooling-off between games. Football fans travelling to the Top of Europe will get half price entry to the FIFA Museum during the World Cup. Conversely, all museum visitors will have the opportunity to experience the attractions at 3,454 metres above sea level with a 25% discount in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch from 1 October to 31 December 2018. In so doing, Jungfrau Railways is consciously addressing the Swiss public.

World Cup ball in the eternal ice
The Ice Palace on the Jungfraujoch houses various animal sculptures and the Chaplin statue by British artist John Doubleday, which was inaugurated in December 2017 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the film icon's death. Just in time for the World Cup start, the Ice Palace has a new addition. At 3,454 metres above sea level, the official World Cup football was frozen in eternal ice. A plaque draws attention to the joint action with the FIFA World Football Museum. At www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/jungfraujoch-top-of-europe/fifa-world-football-museum-promotion/ you can find information on the reduced online Interlaken Ost – Jungfraujoch return ticket. This is only available online and, in combination with an entry ticket to the FIFA Museum, valid from 1 October to 31 December 2018.
