Gotthard are co-headliners at SnowpenAir 2017

Andreas Gabalier and Gölä are the big attraction already announced for SnowpenAir 2017. Starting today, 15 January, the currently secret Special Guest will be made public. On the 20th anniversary of the highest open air concert in the snow, today's most successful Swiss band will rock on stage on Kleine Scheidegg with Gotthard as co-headline on 8 April.

The appearance of Gotthard at this year's SnowpenAir could not be more fitting. They appeared at the very start of the concert series in 1998. Now they are celebrating the 20th year of the legendary OpenAir concert at the foot of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. For Gotthard, 2017 is also their 25th anniversary, as well as the release of the new album "Silver". On Saturday, 8 April 2017, they will be setting the mood on Kleine Scheidegg with no-frills rock and powerful ballads.

With 15 number one albums, various multi-platinum awards and as winner of the Swiss Music Award for "Best Album National" 2015, it is not only in Switzerland that Gotthard can chronicle one success after another. They are also a strong concert draw beyond the border. The hard rockers from Lugano have already played with bands such as Deep Purple, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi and AC/DC.

Swiss Power on Saturday
Whatever Switzerland has to offer musically will be served to the public on a silver platter on Saturday, 8 April 2017. In addition to Gölä and Gotthard, Marc Amacher – known from "The Voice of Germany" – and his Blues-Duo "CHUBBY BUDDY", as well as Juraya, are included in the musical goodies.

Gabalier nearly sold out
Almost all tickets have already gone for Sunday, 9 April 2017. The organisers estimate that the concert day with Andreas Gabalier, the Baseballs and Hamschter will be sold out in a few weeks. There are still approximately 2,000 tickets still available for Saturday, 8 April 2017.
