Grindelwald and Wengen have continuous winter sports operation

From Saturday, 2 December 2017, Grindelwald and Wengen will be offering continuous winter sports operation. In addition to an extensive range of slopes, visitors can experience the first downhill run to the valley and a freestyle park starting next weekend.

The current snowfall and cold temperatures guarantee ideal conditions for the preparation of the slopes, and this makes continuous winter sports operation possible at Grindelwald and Wengen from Saturday, 2 December 2017. Thanks to the excellent weather conditions, visitors can experience the first downhill run from Kleine Scheidegg to Grindelwald Grund starting next weekend. Also guaranteed is the Männlichen – Kleine Scheidegg connecting slope. On 2/3 December, the Männlichen area offers weekend operation, and the continuous winter sports season starts on 16 December.

Freestyle park open
The wait is over for freestylers young and old. The Snowpark Grindelwald-First on the Oberjoch is open from 2 December. Adventure seekers will get their money's worth with the First Flyer and the First Glider. Both flight attractions are in operation throughout the season and are included in the winter Sportpass. First also offers fantastic winter hiking opportunities.
