The highlight of the three-day end of season party is the legendary treasure hunt in the snow on Saturday, 15 April 2017. The starting shot is at 11 AM at the Grindelwald-First ski resort. Instinct and muscle strength are in demand for one of the 30 hidden chests. Great prizes with a total value of CHF 40,000 are up for grabs. The treasure hunt ends at 2 PM. The First summit station is the meeting point. The après-ski party will be held at the Eiger+ event centre in Grindelwald, where the prizes will also be awarded at 5 PM. The top prize is a Skoda Fabia. Successful treasure hunters can also win prizes such as winter season subscriptions for the Jungfrau Ski Region, helicopter flights, Velogemel rides, Coop shopping vouchers, an iPad, entry vouchers for the Europapark and much more.
Live bands and egg jarping
The winter finale starts on the Eiger+ Eventplatz in Grindelwald on Good Friday, 14 April from 7 PM with a concert by "The Suspenders". The Easter Surf Days on Grindelwald-First round off the three-day Easter party on Sunday, 16 April. From 9.30 to 11 AM, children and adults alike will meet at the White Elements Snowpark on the Oberjoch for egg jarping. Afterwards, creative tricks and funny outfits will be in demand. From experienced cracks to daring beginners, all freestyle enthusiasts can turn up for the "Tricks for Goodies" at the snow park and win great prizes.
Starting places are still available
Many treasure hunters have already registered for the event. However, there are still places for last-minute travellers. If you want to try your luck as a treasure hunter, then you can register online until Friday at the following link: www.thewinterfinal.ch. Registration is also possible on location: On Friday evening from 7 PM on the Eiger+ Eventplatz in Grindelwald or on Saturday from 8.30 AM on Grindelwald-First. Participation is free for children between 4 and 9 years. Participants who are 10 years and over pay CHF 15. The entry fee includes the start number for the treasure hunt as well as entry to the live concert on Friday evening. A Sportpass or mountain railway ticket is required to reach the Grindelwald-First ski area. The programme is subject to change due to current weather and snow conditions.
