Hunting for treasure chests at the end of season in Grindelwald

A three-day party, ice cream parlour and the largest treasure hunt in Switzerland with prizes worth CHF 40,000: This is "The Winter Final" – the new season in Grindelwald. From Good Friday to Easter Sunday, the end of winter is celebrated in the village and on First with live bands and events on and next to the slopes.

The highlight of the three-day end of season party is the legendary treasure hunt in the snow on Saturday, 15 April 2017. The starting shot is at 11 AM at the Grindelwald-First ski resort. Instinct and muscle strength are in demand for one of the 30 hidden chests. Great prizes with a total value of CHF 40,000 are up for grabs. The treasure hunt ends at 2 PM. The First summit station is the meeting point. The après-ski party will be held at the Eiger+ event centre in Grindelwald, where the prizes will also be awarded at 5 PM. The top prize is a Skoda Fabia. Successful treasure hunters can also win prizes such as winter season subscriptions for the Jungfrau Ski Region, helicopter flights, Velogemel rides, Coop shopping vouchers, an iPad, entry vouchers for the Europapark and much more.

Live bands and egg jarping
The winter finale starts on the Eiger+ Eventplatz in Grindelwald on Good Friday, 14 April from 7 PM with a concert by "The Suspenders". The Easter Surf Days on Grindelwald-First round off the three-day Easter party on Sunday, 16 April. From 9.30 to 11 AM, children and adults alike will meet at the White Elements Snowpark on the Oberjoch for egg jarping. Afterwards, creative tricks and funny outfits will be in demand. From experienced cracks to daring beginners, all freestyle enthusiasts can turn up for the "Tricks for Goodies" at the snow park and win great prizes.
