The midsummer cinema nights on Winteregg guarantee a sparkling cocktail of excitement, humour, drama and action. The selected films will be shown on the Movie Nights big screen on Winteregg from 5 to 14 July 2018. Over the course of seven evenings, the terrace of the restaurant is transformed into a multi-faceted cinema at 1,600 metres above sea level in front of the unique scenery of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The première on Thursday, 5 July, is a charming a witty one with the French comedy “C'est la vie”. The programme also includes the films “Wonder”, “Ferdinand”, “Late Bloomers”, “Dieses bescheuerte Herz”, “The Mountain Between Us” and finally the Hollywood blockbuster “Ocean's 8”. All films will be shown in German. Each film starts at 21.15 h.

Dining before the film
You get there by taking the cable car from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp where the panorama train continues to Winteregg. Visitors at Winteregg will be offered a combination of nature, cinema and culinary experiences. The film screening can be combined with dinner beforehand at Restaurant Winteregg. Cinema and combo tickets are now available at www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/winteregg-muerren/movie-nights-at-winteregg/ or at all Jungfrau Railways stations.

The Movie Nights have taken place at Winteregg since 2012. The series of events is organized by Jungfrau Railways and Restaurant Winteregg in cooperation with the film exhibitor Movie World Spiez. Over 1,000 visitors are expected.

2018 programme
