From Wednesday 16 August 2017, the 17-metre wide, 9-metre high cinema screen will again be switched on at 1,600 metres above sea level. The second part of Movie Nights on Winteregg starts with the Hollywood blockbuster "La La Land". The film is a tribute to Hollywood's golden musical era and has won several awards. The actress Emma Stone won the Best Actress Oscar for her role as a dancer. Up to Saturday, 19 August 2017, there is an attractive open air cinema programme. "The Shack", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge" and the animated film "Despicable Me 3" will be shown in German. Each film starts at 21.00 h.

Cinema and culinary experiences in one At every showing, cinema visitors have the opportunity to combine the film fun with a pre-screening evening meal at Winteregg Restaurant. You get there by taking the cable car from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp where the panorama train continues to Winteregg. Due to the warm summer temperatures in the middle of the week, the organisers are expecting many cinema guests. The final screening of animation comedy "Despicable Me 3" should attract grown-ups and children alike.
The Movie Nights have taken place at Winteregg since 2012. The series of events is organized by Jungfrau Railways and Restaurant Winteregg in cooperation with the film exhibitor Movie World Spiez.
