Action-packed chases, creepy ghost pirates and hopeless dreamers are guaranteed, when from 10 to 19 August 2017 the selected films are shown on the Movie Nights big screen on Winteregg. Over the course of seven evenings, the terrace of the restaurant is transformed into a multi-faceted cinema at 1,600 metres above sea level in front of the unique scenery of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. On Thursday, 10 August, it starts off with the hit Swiss film "The Divine Order" ("Die Göttliche Ordnung"). Also on the programme are "Fast & Furious 8", "Two is a Family", "La La Land", "The Shack", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge" and the animated film "Despicable Me 3". All films will be shown in German. Each film starts at 9 pm.

Cinema and culinary experiences in one
You get there by taking the cable car from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp where the panorama train continues to Winteregg. Visitors at Winteregg will be offered a combination of nature, cinema and culinary experiences this summer as well. The film screening can be combined with dinner beforehand at Restaurant Winteregg. Cinema and combo tickets are now available at www.jungfau.ch/movie-nights or at all Jungfrau Railways stations.

The Movie Nights have taken place at Winteregg since 2012. The series of events is organized by Jungfrau Railways and Restaurant Winteregg in cooperation with the film exhibitor Movie World Spiez. Over 1,000 visitors are expected.
