The route was suspended this morning, 20 June 2017, between 08.15 and 10.00 h. During a service run of a Wengernalp Railway infrastructure train, a derailment occurred at Lauterbrunnen railway station as the train crossed the points towards the freight facilities. No one was injured. Since the vehicle was blocking the main track of the WAB towards Lauterbrunnen, the route towards Wengen was temporarily suspended.

WAB trains will resume service as follows: At 10.03 h from Wengen towards Lauterbrunnen and from 10.07 h from Lauterbrunnen.
