Kleine Scheidegg Mountain Restaurant
Big railway station on Kleine Scheidegg: Directly at the foot of the mighty Eiger North Face, you can feel nature up close on the sun terrace. Open all year round, the mountain restaurant has been under new management since the 2018 season and combines tradition with modern ideas. The menu ranges from regional classics to international specialities – all fresh and prepared with love. By the way: The attached lodge with single, double and multi-bed rooms is the ideal place to stay overnight so that after a hearty breakfast, you can explore the most beautiful places in the Bernese Oberland – whether as a hiker or a skier.
The mountain restaurant with a beautiful panoramic terrace is located directly at the foot of the Mönch and Jungfrau – with a great direct view of the ice break-up of the Eiger Glacier. Throughout the year, it offers traditional Swiss cuisine with the popular in-house confectionery specialities Eigerspitzli and Rahmschnitte. In summer, evening events are held on special occasions, including a 4-course menu, music and a guided confectionery tour. During the ski season from December to April, the Schreinerei Ski Bar opens its large sun terrace – directly on the ski slope at the Eiger North Face summit station chairlift. Thirsty and hungry skiers are well taken care of.
