Passes of the Jungfrau Railways

Passes of the Jungfrau Railways are ideal for a carefree stay in the Jungfrau Region - whether for a long weekend or a whole week or even the whole winter season on the Jungfrau Railways network. The following passes are available:

Covid-19 money-back guarantee

For all buyers of a Top4 Ski Pass or Jungfrau Ski Region Ski Pass, day or multi-day pass, Jungfrau Corona Winter Pass or hiking and sledging pass, there is a Covid 19 money back guarantee. In the event of a lockdown and the resulting closure of all Top4 ski areas (Top4 Ski Pass) or the Jungfrau Ski Region, a refund will be made pro rata temporis. Refunds will be made in cash or, in the case of online purchases, by bank transfer to the credit card. You can find more information here.

Mask obligation

The obligation to wear a mask (“mouth and nose protection”) also applies on the button lifts and chair lifts, not only in the waiting area. When wearing mouth and nose protection, we refer to the recommendation from the BAG to wear a medical mask. In the meantime, there are neck tubes on the market which also meet the guidelines of a medical mask. Winter sports enthusiasts will also be able to buy so-called  neck tubes or bandanas with filter inserts as mouth and nose protection.

Masks must be worn in publicly accessible indoor areas such as railway stations or cable car stations. Masks are also mandatory in all waiting areas (indoor and outdoor). A mask must also be worn in highly frequented places such as car parks.

Seat reservation Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe

Seat reservation recommended and protective mask obligatory.

We strongly recommend a seat reservation for the trip to the Jungfraujoch in good weather. Secure your paid seat (CHF 10.- per person) at jungfrau.ch/sitzplatzreservation. If you do not make a reservation, we cannot guarantee you a seat at the desired departure time. Longer waiting times must be expected.

Wearing a protective mask is compulsory on all Jungfrau Railways transport vehicles and in the public areas (inside and outside) on the Jungfraujoch.
