Travel by rail into the high mountain region, to the glaciers of the Jungfrau Region: Travelling in the Alps became a noble pastime. In contrast to the effortless pleasure, however, there was a bitter struggle of the railway builders.
The finest and most valuable historical photos dating back as far as 1890 from the extensive Jungfrau Railway archive show: Bernese Oberland Railway, Lauterbrunnen-Mürren cableway, Schynige Platte Railway, Wengernalp railway, Wetterhorn lift, Jungfrau Railway, Harder Railway.
