Stefan Würgler completed his training as a railway operations dispatcher in 1989 and graduated as a qualified business administrator (HF) in 2001. From 1990 to 2004, he held various positions at SBB AG and then took over as Head of Market Management in SBB AG's long-distance transport marketing department (2005–2006). He joined Jungfrau Railways in 2007 as Head of Railway Operations and was a member of the extended Executive Board from 2007 to 2020. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 2021.
