It cannot be conquered by everyone, yet it can certainly be admired: the Eiger north face. If you are looking for a gentle walk, you can marvel at the Jungfrau Eiger Walk at close range. The two and a half kilometres long, well-developed trail from the Eiger glacier station to Kleine Scheidegg (or vice versa) is also well-suited for inexperienced hikers. On the short walk, time and again you will come across stations that provide insights into the tragedies, dramas and triumphs that once took place here. A trip back in time with a breathtaking view of the most famous north face of the Alps.
The highest railway station in Europe, located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the spectacular view of the longest glacier in the Alps – at 3,454 metres above sea level.
With spectacular views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, a variety of hiking trails and ski slopes, it is an ideal place for adventure and relaxation – nestled in the mountain landscape of the Bernese Oberland.
Whether wholesome and down-to-earth or something a little more refined – from Swiss classics to international favourites: there's something to suit every taste. All accompanied by a stunning view of the Alps.
