Eiger Trail hike at the foot of the Eiger North Face
Directly at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face, the Eiger Trail leads from the Eiger Glacier down to Alpiglen in approximately two and a half hours. The notorious Eiger North Face is so close that you can really feel its mysterious and legendary aura. The hike is approximately 2½ hours.
The ticket is valid from the selected departure station to Eigergletscher and from Alpiglen back to the selected departure station. For those travelling to Wengen, the return trip is via Kleine Scheidegg. For all other destinations, return is via Grindelwald.
The mountain railway ticket is personal, non-refundable,& non-transferable and can only be used on the day of validity. After successful booking, you can print out your ticket at any time as a PDF from your user account or add it to your wallet as a mobile ticket.
It is compulsory to wear a protective mask on all means of transport of the Jungfrau Railways as well as in indoor areas open to the public such as railway stations, cable car stations and within the buildings on the Jungfraujoch. If the distance of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained in other areas (e.g. when queuing) masks must also be worn. For detailed information, see the protective measures.
