Daniel Binder completed an apprenticeship as an electrician (2000) and later trained as an electrical safety consultant (2008) and electrical project manager (2013). He initially worked as an electrical and service technician before working as a senior installer and safety consultant in various small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) (2008–2011). This was followed by positions as an electrical project manager and head of the electrical installation department at the EWL cooperative in Wengen (2011–2016). He has been a hotelier and co-owner of the Hotel Alpenrose in Wengen since 2016. He maintains a business relationship with Jungfrau Railways via the B2B webshop (reseller) and as a customer of the Wengernalp Railway for logistics services.
