Andreas Piattini is the new Head of Human Resources at Jungfrau Railways

The Board of Directors of Jungfraubahn Holding AG and Berner Oberland-Bahnen AG decided on a new head of Human Resources for Jungfrau Railways at the meetings of 30 and 31 August 2016. 44-year-old Andreas Piattini was their selection.

Starting 1 June 2017, Andreas Piattini will be managing Human Resources at Jungfrau Railways and will become a member of the extended executive management. He is the successor to Therese Jaun Schmid, who is entering early retirement at the end of May 2017 after more than eight years of service.

Andreas Piattini has many years of experience in HR management and also in the railways sector. The federally certified Head of Human Resources began his professional career as an operations manager at SBB. Afterwards he held various management positions in the area of HR with the Swiss Federal Railways, and he pursued his ongoing professional development at specialist seminars in his field. He successfully completed his Master of Business Management degree in 2012.

Since 2006, Andreas Piattini has been employed as Head of Human Resources at Zentralbahn, where he is a member of the executive management. Andreas Piattini is 44 years old, married and the father of two children.
