Gölä and Gabalier at SnowpenAir 2017 anniversary

SnowpenAir celebrates its 20th birthday. The anniversary event of the highest open-air concert in the snow will be a two-day musical event. On the weekend of 8 and 9 April, there will be a stream of major attractions at Kleine Scheidegg, such as Gölä, Andreas Gabalier and The Baseballs. Advance sales begin tomorrow, Thursday, 3 November 2016 for SnowpenAir 2017.

From rock festival to a party with hit songs: On the weekend of 8 to 9 April 2017, the SnowpenAir 2017 anniversary guarantees musical fireworks in the snow at 2,000 metres above sea-level. The main act on Saturday, 8 April is the Bernese rock music star, Gölä. Marc Amacher, currently a newcomer on the TV show "The Voice of Germany" , will be performing at Kleine Scheidegg, along with his Blues Duo "CHUBBY BUDDY". The Bernese band "Juraya", with its lead singer from Interlaken, marks the start of the 20th SnowpenAir concert programme. 

Special guest on Saturday
To celebrate the occasion, there will also be a surprise act for concert visitors on the first day of SnowpenAir. This is guaranteed to warm up the crowd before Gölä's appearance. The hosts of SnowpenAir are pleased that they have obtained this very special guest for the anniversary concert. 

Folk music à la Gabalier
He is currently the most sought-after musician in Austria – Andras Gabalier. The folk-rock and roller is the star guest at Kleine Scheidegg on Sunday, 9 April. Inspired by rock 'n' roll and dance rhythms, The Baseballs will also be appearing. The local rockers, Hamschter, are opening the concert.
SnowpenAir takes place next year for the 20th time. For the two-day anniversary event, tickets are available for either one day or an attractive two-day offer. The arena can accommodate for 8,500 guests per day. Advance booking begins tomorrow, Thursday, 3 November 2016.
