New Walk-in test center for Covid-19 tests in the Grindelwald Terminal

The new Walk-in test center for Covid-19 tests in the Grindelwald Terminal became operational. Jungfrau Railways is making the premises available free of charge. The test center is run by employees of the Dr. Portmann pharmacy. The center functions in the same way as the one in Interlaken, offering PCR and antigen rapid tests.

The test center is intended to help meet the need of the domestic and foreign guests to be tested. Jungfrau Railways is making the existing first-aid room next to the counters in the main building of Grindelwald Terminal available for the test center.

Jungfrau Railways demonstrate together with the Dr. Portmann pharmacy their flexibility in challenging times to offer guests the tests where they want to start their journey to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The test center is open every day and operates on a « first come, first served » basis.

The center is run by employees of the Dr. Portmann pharmacy. The operation also includes the entire organisation and support on site as well as furnishing and IT. Detailed information on the opening hours and prices for the test center in the Grindelwald terminal can be found on the website of the Dr. Portmann pharmacy.

The test center can be used by everyone: Be it for a PCR test for the next holiday trip abroad or the return journey of international guests from Switzerland to their country of origin. People can also obtain a certificate for their next visit to a restaurant or a concert.
