Orientation run for greater snow safety

On Saturday, 16 January 2016, Jungfrau Railways together with dasevent.ch are running the Stop Risk Winter Sports Day in Grindelwald-First for the sixth time. Eight posts inform participants in the free prevention day about the most important things for safety on the ski slopes.

On Saturday, 16 January 2016, Grindelwald-First is once again the venue for the Stop Risk winter sports day. Jungfrau Railways and dasevent.ch would like to improve safety in snow sports with the "Snow & Safety Day".

The Prevention Day on First is free for all participants. Eight separate posts inform skiers about the latest developments in safety and accident prevention. The posts can be individually completed and snipped off on a checkpoint ticket as part of an orientation run. Back protectors, helmets, goggles and skis can be tested on location. There is also the possibility of taking a bfu binding test. Berggasthaus First is broadcasting the Lauberhorn Race live for ski enthusiasts.

Sportpass & Trottibike scooter voucher
The main prize is a 2-for-1 "Grindelwald-Wengen" Sportpass voucher All participants who submit their completed card at the tourist centre by 3 PM will receive this. A First Aerial Cableway trottibike voucher will be given to those who have completed five out of eight posts after they return the card. Participation is free of charge and open to all. Registration is not required. Meeting point is at 9 AM at the First summit station. Bring your own ski equipment and a government issued ID.
