  • Jungfraujoch: Do I need a seat reservation for the journey to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe?

    For the journey to the Jungfraujoch, we strongly recommend a paid seat reservation (CHF 10 per person). This reservation is valid for return journeys on the Jungfrau Railway from Eigergletscher / Kleine Scheidegg and ensures that you can travel at the desired time. Without a timed seat reservation, the Jungfrau Railway may well be full at peak times and you will have to wait for the next train. Book now at jungfrau.ch/seatreservation.

  • How long does the journey take? (Jungfraujoch, Eigergletscher, Harder Kulm)

    Getting to Eigergletscher & Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe:
    Journey time from Grindelwald Terminal to Eigergletscher station with the Eiger Express: 15 minutes. From Eigergletscher station: 30 minutes by Jungfrau Railway to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. 

    Getting to Harder Kulm – Top of Interlaken:
    A short walk from Interlaken-Ost railway station to the Harder funicular valley station. With a modern funicular to Harder Kulm. Travel time from valley station: 10 minutes.

  • Do I have to exchange the ticket or can I go straight through the turnstile?

    No, the ticket does not need to be exchanged and you can pass through the turnstiles directly with the QR code shown.
