Hole in One on the Jungfraujoch

Golf know no boundaries. This is proven by the new Hole in One from Omega on the Jungfraujoch. In the eternal ice at 3,454 metres above sea level, friends of the world-famous sport can improve their accuracy this summer and win an Omega Seamaster Golf Edition.

The heat wave still has a firm grip on Switzerland. If you are looking for refreshment, take a trip to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The temperatures on the ice even allow sporting activities without breaking a sweat. As of this summer, golf lovers can take on a new challenge on the Aletsch glacier and try to hit a hole in one at 3,454 metres above sea level.

3 attempts at 75 metres
On the Jungfraujoch, the eternal white of the Aletsch glacier forms the so-called “green”. A handicap is not required, but high precision is. For 10 Swiss francs, each player gets three attempts to sink the golf ball in one go. The distance is 75 metres, the difference in height around 20 metres. Marksmanship is rewarded. If you get a hole in one, you will win an Omega Seamaster Golf Edition watch.

The new attraction has been jointly realised by Omega and Jungfrau Railways. It is located at the Aletsch exit and is open between 10.00 and 17.00 h every day until mid-October in good weather. Tickets can be purchased on site. All players will receive a golf ball from Omega and Jungfrau Railways as a gift.
