Fresh snow and open valley runs in Grindelwald and Wengen

By Friday morning, more than half a metre of fresh snow is expected in the Kleine Scheidegg ski area. The late onset of winter on the weekend of 6 and 7 April 2019 will ensure very good slope conditions. The valley runs to Grindelwald and Wengen are open.

Up to and including Easter Monday, 22 April 2019, most of the lifts across the Kleine Scheidegg area will be in operation.

Big pot for hungry winter athletes
The Kleine Scheidegg Mountain Restaurant is always open and awaits its winter sports guests with high-quality cuisine. In addition to classics and international dishes, the mountain restaurant is offering various daily specials for families and groups until the end of the season. You can choose between “G'hackets mit Hörnli”, “Älplermaggeroni” or “Chäschnöpfli”. Your favourite dish is served in a large pot and serves 4 to 6 people. It also comes with salad, apple sauce, a small dessert for everyone and a 1.5 litre soft drink of your choice, all for a set price of 105 Swiss francs.

Penultimate SnowpenAir
On Saturday, 6 April 2019, the legendary SnowpenAir takes place for the penultimate time on Kleine Scheidegg. James Morrison, DJ Antoine, Krokus and Ritschi will bring the atmosphere on the stage of the world’s highest open-air concert in the snow. Last minute types can still get tickets at www.snowpenair.ch, www.ticketcorner.ch and at any Jungfrau Railways station.
Anyone buying a combined ticket (train journey from Interlaken Ost & concert) will also receive a 1-day Jungfrau Sportpass from any Jungfrau Railways station. This is valid on the concert day and is not transferable.
