Alphorn players

The alphorn is something for experts. It has no slide, flaps or valves. It takes a lot of practice to produce melodies from the natural horn that is up to 3.9 metres in length. The alphorn players on Schynige Platte manage this perfectly. Visitors can enjoy a free concert every day. Afterwards, they can pose with the instrument in front of the mountain pastures, as if they were professionals themselves.
