Train models for the V-Cableway Project are in Grindelwald Grund

As part of the V-Cableway Project, an 8-seater gondola is planned from Grindelwald Grund to Männlichen and a tricable gondola to the Eiger Glacier. Two original-sized cabin exhibits have been in Grindelwald Grund since Wednesday, 5 February 2014.

The V-Cableway Project intends to replace the Grindelwald-Männlichen (GGM) gondola with an 8-person gondola. The new Eiger Express, referred to as a "tricable gondola", will open up the Eiger Glacier started from a shared terminal in Grindelwald Grund. A cabin exhibit of both gondola cars was delivered yesterday, Wednesday, 5 February 2014. The models were produced in their original size and can now be seen in Grindelwald Grund.

The cabin exhibits are in the Männlichen Railway parking lot in Grindelwald Grund. The pedestal was finished and supplemented with information boards today, Thursday, 6 February 2014. Facts and figures about the new 8-seater GGM gondola and the Eiger Express are contained on the information boards. Visualisations of the planned terminals are also shown.
