James Morrison and DJ Antoine at SnowpenAir 2019

On Saturday, 6 April 2019, British singer-songwriter and pioneer of soulful pop rock James Morrison will perform in the snow at the world’s highest open-air festival. The successful Swiss band Krokus will make a stop on their farewell tour on the Kleine Scheidegg. DJ Antoine and Ritschi will also be performing at SnowpenAir 2019. Advance booking begins today, Thursday, 1 November 2018.

A man, a soulful voice, a guitar: James Morrison's unmistakable style has become the template for music stars like Sam Smith or Ed Sheeran. The British singer-songwriter will perform chart hits alongside songs from his new album “Higher Than Here” on Saturday, 6 April 2019, with his soulful yet smoky voice.

The SnowpenAir programme could not be more varied: in addition to this international star, successful Swiss musicians will dominate the stage at over 2,000 metres above sea level. This includes none other than DJ Antoine, Switzerland’s most successful international music export. With “Welcome to St. Tropez” he conquered the charts and dance floors of the whole world in 2011. His summer hit “Ma Chérie” sold more than one million copies and was awarded several Gold and Platinum awards.

Krokus’ last stand
No other Swiss rock band has sold as many albums worldwide as Krokus. After 2003 and 2005, they will bring the SnowpenAir stage to life for the third and final time – as part of their big farewell “Adios Amigos” tour. With the appearance of local hero Ritschi at SnowpenAir 2019, fans will get their share of Bernese dialect pop. Ritschi and band will perform their new songs with great passion.

This year as well, SnowpenAir will feature an after-party. DJ Marlo from Panama will ensure a party atmosphere after the concert.
