Marcel Jäggi becomes the new manager of Lauterbrunnen car park

Marcel Jäggi will head the car park in Lauterbrunnen as of 1 February 2016. He succeeds Walter von Allmen, who is retiring after 28 years of service.

Starting Monday, 1 February 2016, Marcel Jäggi will be the new manager of the car park in Lauterbrunnen. Today – Thursday, 28 January – the keys were symbolically handed over by his predecessor Walter von Allmen, who had managed the car park for 28 years.

Marcel Jäggi has been deputy manager of Lauterbrunnen car park (PHL) since May 2013 . He has worked at Jungfrau Railways since 1993. He worked occasionally as a train dispatcher at the Schynige Platte Railway, before switching to Lauterbrunnen as an employee of PHL. The qualified businessman has many years of professional experience at Jungfrau Railways and continued his education in the form of internal management training. Marcel Jäggi is 44 years old, married and is the father of two children. He lives with his family in Matten.

Organisationally, Lauterbrunnen car park is now subordinated to the head of the operating unit of the Lauterbrunnen-Mürren mountain railway (BLM), Stefan Wittwer.
