Icy air streams across your face, snow crunches under your feet, and the view nearly takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Mittelland up to the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch glacier, bordered by four thousand metre peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 metres above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.

An unforgettable experience
I can hardly believe we are on the roof of Europe. An unforgettable experience. We would love to go hiking again, but we don't have enough time. We'll do it the next trip because one thing's for sure – we will return.
This unspoilt area is magnificent
I am here with my work colleagues. We are on our annual business trip and it's quite fantastic. This panorama is so extensive. The eternal unspoilt snow is impressive.
Upwards in comfort
The railway here is extremely comfortable and perfectly suited to older people and families – much better than a cable car. There is nowhere else with such a comfortable ascent.
Like another world
I've never seen anything like it. The mountains up here are so near – wonderful. It feels as if I were in another world.
My wife and I saw a television documentary about Jungfraujoch, and one thing was clear to us: we have to see it in reality. Now we are here and it's absolutely fantastic.
The perfect meeting place
I get together here with my friend who lives in Zurich. For us, the Jungfrau region is the perfect meeting place for a weekend. We love the mountains, and the view here of the Jungfraujoch is simply fantastic.
